AGORA > While the salons flourished mainly in Berlin and Paris, where it was cold in winter and people gathered in closed rooms to talk and to read, discuss and make music, on the Mediterranean the square (Pjaca in Split, Agora, Forum) was available as a typical place where people could talk, discuss, celebrate or sing (e.g. klapa singing, a tradition from Dalmatia). We want to revive this tradition and open it to themes that move people in Europe and the Mediterranean today to work together with writers and other artists and with the audience on ideas and visions for a peaceful and prospective future of the Mediterranean.
