Alba Dedeu i Surribas (Granollers, Vallès Oriental, 1984) is a Catalan writer and translator.
At twenty-six, she won the Mercè Rodoreda Short Story Prize (2010) and the Serra d’Or Critics’ Prize (2011) with her first collection of short stories, Gats al parc (2011).
In 2012, a second short story collection appeared, L’estiu no s’acaba mai, and twelve years later came her first novel, La conformista (2024).

She has had the privilege of translating L’innocente by Gabriele D’Annunzio, Emma by Jane Austen, two novels by Alberto Moravia, and Uncle Tom’s Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe, among many others.
