After having followed positions in Freiburg and Gießen, Walburga Hülk-Althoff (author’s name Walburga Hülk) taught Romance Literary Studies at the University of Siegen until the fall of 2019, Visiting professorships at the University of California/Berkeley, in Paris and Valenciennes. Numerous publications on literature from the Middle Ages to the present and repeatedly on 19th century literature and art. Most recently published: Der Rausch der Jahre.
